Travelling abroad is often a major headache for those who like to pack electronics, you have to worry about voltages, the availability of batteries on your travels, travel adapters, and worrying about something breaking whilst in some obscure part of the world. There are almost always alternatives to most electronics of course, although you can’t yet get a wind up laptop or a solar powered iPod!
With nose hair trimmershowever their is a fantastic alternative to the standard battery operated or rechargeable models, and that is to buy a manual nose hair trimmer. Manual nose hair trimmers can be just as effective as battery powered alternatives, often actually better, and yet don’t cost any more money and have no ongoing running costs.
Perhaps the very best manual nose hair trimmer is the Groom Mate XL, a trimmer which is made in the USA, has a LIFETIME warranty, and has been available for twenty years. It is not only the top rated manual nose hair trimmer on the market but also one of the very best rated nose hair trimmers of any kind available. For more information check out this dedicated Groom Mate Platinum XL Review which includes links to buy at the lowest online price! There really is no reason to buy an electric trimmer, not when the manual alternatives get this good!

Colds are never good at the best of times but catching while traveling is the worst! I tend to travel quite a bit and as you can suppose every now and then I tend to pick up something here or there. Over the years I’ve learned to always have a few things on hand for emergencies, after all you never know where you’re going to be at any given time and there’s nothing quite like coming down with a cold or the flu while on a camping trip.
So anyway a few of the items that I always like to have on hand are, cold medicine, tea, honey, lemon juice, ibuprofen, cough drops, sore throat spray, hot water bottle and of course chicken soup. All of these items will at one time or another help to make your life just a little easier. It’s unfortunate, but getting sick while traveling can pretty while ruin your trip but with these items you will at least be able to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
While traveling I also like to either bookmark or print out, just in case you don’t have internet a few articles like this one on home remedies to soothe a sore throat to refer back to in time of need. This particular article although it deals with a sore throat can also be used for caring for a cold or even flu virus.

My husband and I love to travel to exotic places. It was my mother who encouraged my love of travel. Even as a small child she and I went all over the world to places that other people had never heard of. Well my Mom doesn’t travel much these days, but she does love to travel vicariously. So I always try to bring back a travel gift that she can add to her home decor. More often than not that gift is a figurine that comes from the area we visited.
Recently during a trip to Japan, I fell in love with everything about Geishas. I even took a course at the hotel where we stayed on how to serve tea like a Geisha. My husband and I spent most of our time outside of the larger cities in more traditional centers of Japanese culture and art. So it was only natural that we were surrounded by Geisha traditions.
The Geisha figurines that I saw were each so beautiful. The traditional Geisha dress is unique and beautiful to each and every Geisha. Of course I had to bring a Geisha figurine back to my mother. This is one time that I didn’t mind seeing the phrase Made in Japan when I bought something!

A Halloween ghost magnet is the perfect example of an everyday object that you can turn into a Halloween decoraton! It’s the perfect way to turn your refrigerator or file cabinet into a fun Halloween center. Little children will love to watch the change on the refrigerator as they post their art work. If you’re a teacher you can put these colorful Hallowee ghost magnets on your desk or file cabinet. Keep track of messages and assignments with your Halloween decorations.
Halloween ghost magnets are wonderful on anything metal. So if you have a metal mailbox then you can easily embellish your mailbox for the Halloween Holidays.
I love ghost magnets because they are bright and often more humorous and cheerful than scary. If you put together a Halloween gift basket for your family or friends, be sure to include a few Halloween ghost magnets. They’ll be used long after the candy has been eaten. You might also include Halloween pencils, erasers, or nail decals. They keep the fun going for many days after Halloween, and encourage children’s imaginations.
Halloween is a wonderful holiday for playing make believe and art projects. Just about everyone celebrates Halloween and there’s time for many different group activitie from picking apples to painting faces.

Pleasanton, California is a large town with a small town feel. Situated one hour’s drive east of San Francisco, it has a very attractive downtown, with hosts numerous events through the year. Every Saturday there is a Farmer’s Market and on the first Wednesday of each month during the summer, the whole of Main Street is closed for a First Wednesday Street Party.
The shops on Main Street are one of a kind, so there are no chain stores. There are Starbucks and Peets in Pleasanton, but not on Main Street.
Pleasanton is at the crossroads of the I-680 and I-580 and is easily accessible from San Francisco by BART.
There is an indoor mall, Stoneridge Mall, that has JC Penny, Macy’s, Sears, Nordstrom and many other smaller stores. It is easily accessible by car from the I-680, or the new BART Station, East Pleasanton.
There is a large business park, Hacienda Business Park, on the north side of the city, which is close to the BART Station.
The weather in the summer in Pleasanton ranges from 80 to 100 degrees, with no rain from April to May. In the winter it occasionally goes below zero, but only at night.

So what should you consider when you decide to develop your next vacation packing list ? Well you should take what matters – but not much more. My essential list comes down to :passport, money, cards – ask anyone who has had their pack stolen – its amazing how little of those essentials you think you need – you do actually need.
In terms of clothing 3 bottoms and 3 tops will do just fine – yup ladies too – really almost anywhere in the world you can either wash your clothes yourself or get some cheap laundry done ( I prefer the later I’m lazy particularly when I travel).
Some underwear, some swimwear – that’s it. Take nothing that can’t be used in multiple situations and in multiple layers – those satin sexy black pajames will double as an evening outfit, take a sarong and its a skirt, a towel, a shawl, a bag, amongst other things.
Vacation packing takes a little thinking outside the square – but once you’ve breezed past the queue of pissed off tourists trying to manhandle their luggage onto the bus – with your carry on bag slung over your shoulder you will never go back. No taxis – no problem – walk or take the local bus, more fun, less money – less stress – what’s not to like?

As a Georgia girl, I love southern food. One of my favorite southern food dishes is fried chicken tenders. Fried chicken tenders are perfect for everyone and are great for meal time, snack time, or party time! They are easy to eat and can be served a variety of different ways with so many different sauces.
Recipe for Southern Fried Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of cooking oil
- 1 to 1.5 pounds of boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 cup of Italian bread crumbs
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of pepper
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 3 eggs, beaten
- a dash of Worcestershire sauce
Directions: Preheat oil to medium high heat. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix Italian bread crumbs, flour, and seasonings together. Coat chicken with flour mixture. In medium bowl beat eggs and add a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Place chicken in egg wash. Re-coat chicken with flour mixture. Fry tenderloins flipping once until done. Drain on paper towel lined plate. Serve with your favorite sauces and enjoy!
Chicken tenders are so versatile. You can cut them up and make a fried chicken salad. You can serve them with green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, and biscuits for a hearty meal. You can serve them as a party food. You can dip them in your favorite wing sauce and have hot fingers. With so many ways to enjoy them, you can’t go wrong.

Because of the abundance of water in the United States, there are some great American recipes for fish. One of the tastiest finned fish anywhere is the flounder, which can be used in a number of delicious flounder recipes. Flounder is very mild, with an almost sweet taste. The flesh is also white and lean. The fish range in size, with the largest southern flounder ever caught weighing in at over twenty pounds. This big boy was landed in Nassau Sound, a place I’ve fished many times. Of course, flounder this size are extremely rare. The legal size in Florida is twelve inches, and a flatfish that size is big enough to eat.
My family and I have caught a lot of flounder, and I’ve cooked a lot of flounder, in several different flounder recipes. My husband likes the smaller flounder fried whole, with just the scales, head, and innards removed. Whole flounder are also good grilled, broiled, and stuffed and baked. Since the fish are flat, they cook pretty quickly.
When we catch larger flounder, we fillet them. You’ll get four nice fillets from a flounder – two thinner fillets from the bottom side of the fish, and two thick fillets from the top side. The skin can be left on or removed, but we usually remove it. Flounder fillets are great battered and fried, grilled, pan seared, sautéed, baked, or broiled.
