Accommodations

The cottages at Walker Lake Resort are now available for weekly rentals only arriving on Friday or Saturday depending on the cottage. The cottages are situated on the peaceful and serene Walker Lake just minutes away from the Town of Huntsville. Walker Lake is great for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, quiet meditation, and spending quality time with your loved one, family, and friends. When you book your cottage vacation with us you will get access to our private beach with water a trampoline, kayaks, canoes,  and dock.  Walker Lake is the perfect location for a pleasant and relaxing getaway. The beautiful natural landscape offers a sense of tranquility and serenity unique to Ontario’s Cottage County.

Each of our cottages have been newly renovated each with their own sense of charm and character. Each cottage is equipped with cutlery, pots, pans, and essential cooking utensils during your stay.  Linens and towels are also provided with each cottage, with the exception of beach towels. Please note that we are a pet-free resort.

BOOKINGS

Summer Season is available for weekly stays ONLY (June 12th to September 11th)
Cottages Cedar, Birch and Pine are booked Friday to Friday
Cottages Oak, Acorn, Spruce and Maple are booked Saturday t0 Saturday

Payment and Cancellation

Payment
10% fully refundable deposit required to hold a booking up to March 1.
50% booking deposit required as of March 15, or at time of any booking after March 15.
Balance of payment due 1 week before check-in.

Cancellations – Prior to March 15th – deposit 100% refundable.

Bookings For July and Aug
Cancellation fee of 25% of booking amount (ie 50% of deposit) up till 60 days before check-in.
Cancellation fee of 50% of booking amount (ie full deposit) within 60 days of check-in.
Cancellation fee of 100% of booking amount (ie full charge) within 30 days before check-in (reduced to 50% if unit rebooked)

Bookings For May, June, Sept & Oct
Fully refundable up till 60 days before check-in.
Cancellation fee of 25% of booking amount (ie 50% of deposit) within 60 days of check-in.
Cancellation fee of 50% of booking amount (ie full deposit) within 30 days before check-in.
